These videos and mp3s are just fantastic !! Can't stop listening and watching ...Anoop sounds so amazing. I believe he could walk into a studio and record an album today.
I just can't thank everyone enough for putting these together ....you are a wonderful bunch of people
Too many miles and too much $$ just made it impossible for me but the cellcast and these have really helped a lot.
I repeat, you all are a terrific group of people !!

I thought we were prepared for Anoop's UNC show last night.... batteries + phones charged, good seats (even better ones from new friends at Carolina Inn!), 2 days of fun meeting @DaisyKary (former phone friend... now REAL friend!) and enlisting help from GiGi (aka @twocapitalgs). We went to State Fair Oct22 and thought we knew what we would see and hear. The classy UNC crowd and the aura of Memorial Hall set the stage! David Mikush blew us away with his talent in his opening set. We began the cellcast, hopeful that fans might be able to hear. Mikush might have stolen the show if Anoop's performance hadn't been 126% better than the incredible Raleigh show!! Anoop dominated Memorial Hall with his fresh versions of the previous set, and his big happy smile filled every song with joy! Surprise debut of "L.U.V.R." had us all bouncing in our seats. The Anoop we believed in, voted for, and supported took us to another level again!! His music is part of our lives now... more tunes from Desai/Mikush are necessary!! Thank you, Anoop, for showing us at Memorial Hall what's ahead... your dream of making music we love forever is coming true... we saw it last night.

A hugh THANK YOU to all of you for these amazing pics and vids. Even though i was not able to attend, it truly means soooo much to me to be able to see Anoop really enjoying himself. Why is he not signed?!?!?! I'm so happy for him that he was able to do this. I'm sure it brought back so many memories from his Clef days. And to see the Clefs onstage with him again, OMG!!! Major epic moment! With each performance Anoop gives even more of his amazing talent at the next, when we think it could not get any better. This just reinforces my support, dedication and belief that he will one day be a superstar!

Okay, I’ma try to write this down now.
Saturday I drove 5-1/2 hours down to Rocky Mount, NC to meet up with Jean, GiGi and Mr. Pat. We ate dinner at Gardner’s. NC BBQ BABY!!!! It was yummy and good times! We spent a couple hours there just hanging out, eating and talking. Then I drove the 1-1/2 hours to Chapel Hill. I stayed at the Hampton Inn since no hotels downtown were available that night since it was homecoming. The guy at the front desk was friendly. He said I had Carolina Blue eyes and fingernails. I said “Yep, I’m here for Anoop Desai!” He told me they were all proud of Anoop. I gave him a bunch of buttons and he LOVED them. He said he would give to his co-workers. At 5:30am on Sunday I was awakened by a bunch of peeps yelling & dragging their suitcases by my room. Grrrrrrr…….. I guess most had early flights. I was on the row you had to walk down to get to the lobby. I’ll remember not to stay in that area next time.
Sunday morning I checked outta the Hampton and drove to the Carolina Inn. It was 11:30 so I figured I wouldn’t be able to check in yet, but they said they had rooms ready, so I got my room. *big happiness* I LOVED MY ROOM!! I want to move in!! The hotel is beautiful. Old, but a little bit fancy. And QUIET!!!
I walked (limped) around CH. The Carolina Inn is a block away from Memorial Hall, and the Old Well is just past there, so I walked down Cameron Ave toward the Old Well. There were not many people out on the street. As I got to Memorial Hall, a guy with two guitars got out of a truck. I figured it was Nick the bass player since I didn’t recognize the guy. I kept walking. I didn’t want to be there if Anoop was arriving – might look like a stalker. So I went over to Franklin Street and it was busy. I looked at all the shops and restaurants: Top Of The Hill, Spanky’s, Julian’s, etc….. I ate lunch and waited for Jean & GiGi to arrive in CH. The campus is beautiful! The trees are all sorts of colors. The weather was perfect! Everyone is so nice!
The three of us had dinner in the hotel. We met some wonderful alumni in the restaurant. Then we went to Memorial Hall around 6pm and I ended up getting a ticket in second row center. *insert happy dance* I had about 100 Anoop buttons (some with the dogg paw and some photo buttons) with me so I laid them out on a table in the lobby along with the postcards with the ST address on them. They were all gone before the show started!!
I saw Holly was seated so I went over to meet her, but then the lights went down for the show to start so I had to go back to my seat.
David Mikush performed for 30 minutes. He is so good!! I tried to hide my camcorder but I videotaped the whole thing. He had Jack Hitchens come out and play conga drums for a few of his songs. Sounded great! Seriously, Mikush needs to be signed right after Anoop! His songs are catchy. And the stuff he wrote WITH Anoop is fantastic! You can really hear the DMik sound in “Give In To Her Love”, but with Anoop’s R&B over it – such a great combination!
I think there was only a 10 minute wait, then the band came onstage. Then *sigh* Anoop came running out onstage! WOW!!! He looked great! Smiling! Comfortable! I don’t have enough superlatives to describe the show! Anoop def looked at home. He knew it was all his family & friends there. He knows that stage. He had his friends onstage with him. His voice was ON! I won’t describe each song – you can watch the videos. When the show was “over”, everyone stood and cheered. Of course he came back out…….but brought Clefs with him! They did “Crazy Love”! OMFG!!!! I didn’t want it to end!! ANOOP IS READY FOR A RECORD DEAL AND SOLO TOUR!!!
After the show I got to meet Tawnee and her son. And Kari, who was with Holly. Wish we could have hung out more!

One of the highlights for me was during the beginning of "Down" when Anoop came down and slapped hands in the front row. He looked like he was having fun. Actually he looked like he was having fun all night! I just wish he would have met fans while he was in that good mood. I'm sure he knew about 70 percent of the audience already, but the rest of us would have loved to meet him and all the band members and Clefs.

Hi all
I've been trying to write down the lyrics to L.U.V.R. There are a couple of lines that I'm not sure of, I'd appreciate help from ya'll. Maybe if we work on it together, we'll get it. Please feel free to change anything I have, this is just what it sounds like to me. Thanks ya'll!!
I got a friend who saw, saw you walking in the mall Holding on to his hand, said you with another man Baby you know that you got some work to do Girl you better get real, tell me the way you feel Now I lost all my trust, trust in you And I can't let you play me for a fool Said what kind of man do you take me for Don't even say you're sorry cuz Don't know you well, up and do anything and everything he wants you to be Roll with me, you be sipping goose in the VIP, come be my superstar I got a long time plan, I guess you don't want that I got a victory fire, I guess I ain't your style -- not sure about the first part You could have everything, Benz and a diamond ring Ooo baby just be real, tell me the way you feel Cuz ohhh, now I lost all my trust, trust in you And I can't let you play me for a fool Then one night when you're home and all alone Listen I was there beside you baby El I can tell that don't quite, don't know you well -- not sure about that line Anything and everything you want to do Roll with me, you be sipping goose in the VIP Fancy cars, come be my superstar Hey eh eh eh eh eh eh ey Hey eh eh eh eh eh eh ey Repeat 2 1/2 more times El I can tell, then you'll be I don't know you well Up and do, anything and everything he wants you to be Roll with me, you be sipping goose in the VIP Fancy cars, you'll be my superstar, El eyyy Don't know you well, anything and everything you want to do Said roll with me, you be sipping goose in the VIP Fancy cars, come be my superstar
