Love Noopy and all that, but does he think by simply saying "my own tour" that it'll happen? He's very much aware that there may be some important peeps in the audience, but it makes me uncomfortable when he says that for some reason. I don't anyone else says that... me too. but i have a weird thing about modesty. i'm sure anoop will go far in life, but i think it's best to let the chips fall where they may for now rather than to expect them to go a certain way.

I've been thinking about this too, but I feel like it just shows his drive and determination. Also, maybe it gets a good response from the crowd when he says that, showing anyone out there that there are some of us at these shows to see Anoop rather than Adam. This is his chance and I'm sure it's very hard for all of them since they are getting over shadowed by Adam. Hopefully his self-confindence won't be confused for arrogance....

He has repeatedly said that he is treating this tounr to be an extended job interview. And the keys to a successful job interview, for any job, are to: (1) demonstrate your skills that are necessary for the job (which is does very well by performing well); and (2) show that you really want this job (which is does by stating that he wants to come back and perform a solo show).

He's determined to have a solo tour. He's being positive and that's what we all want. Who wants to idolize some guy who doesn't even believe in himself? We all believe in Anoop. We know he can do it, and if us fans believe in him, then the more he should believe in himself. It ain't arrogance. Just coz he says that he wants to have a solo tour, doesn't mean he thinks that it will simply happen just like that. I am in love with his confidence in himself.[/b]

mjsbigblog.com/natxs-american-idol-tour-2009-memphis-re-cap.htm4. Anoop – He was one I was really looking forward to seeing live. Early in the season I’d been turned onto the Clef Hangers videos, so heading into the Top 36 I had already seen enough of ‘Noop Dogg to be a big fan and have high hopes. Though the season had its ups and downs for him, I think he’s doing a fine job of making a name for himself on tour. Whether that translates into getting a crack at making a record remains to be seen, but I think he’s got it. Nobody on that tour can touch him on ballads. He’s got such a velvety voice, which is particularly impressive on “Always On My Mind”. He’s really good on “Mad” as well. “My Prerogative” is good and fun, and I would award him the Silver medal in Dancing (behind Adam, of course. Commence getting gooey in your pants), but that’s not really his strong suit. But hey, I guess nobody wants to sit around and listen to a full show of ballads. I also liked what he did in Beggin’. He came across as really personable and fun-loving. In all, a strong showing. Wish he had more songs. Hearing Lil do “Be Without You” reminded me that Anoop did it with the Clefs, and might do it better. My opinion about "Be Without You", hell yeah some producers shud listen to Anoop w? Clef Hangers singing this.

Record execs really need to listen to the Clefs. Wouldn't it be so cool if all the Clefs became superstars? :][/b]

Anoop!! Awesome video even though the epic gyration was missing lol. I love when he got on the ground, hit that high note and said I love you Memphis. It was too cute. Anytime I hear him say the words I love you, I just smile and daydream of how lovely it would be if it said that to me. LOL

From what I have seen in him, he is saying this with his feet planted firmly on the ground (aware that it may or may not happen) But I am really hoping and praying it will truly happen.

Wow. Looks like Noopy's getting lots of love from the crowd. I heard some girl screaming "I LOVE YOU ANOOOOOOP!" at the beginning. He deserves all the love he's been getting. *being all dramatic and teary-eyed*.[/b]
