AINow review Anoop Desai: I have always felt that if you are looking for the most recordable voice out of the entire top ten, you need to turn to Anoop. So so so smooth Anoop. He most definitely blew the socks off of me with his performances. I actually turned to my friend and said I cannot believe that this kid did not win it all. And my friend, who has always been extremely insightful about "Idol" despite her minimal enthusiasm about the show, said it's not that Anoop lost; rather, it is that the others won. And I must say, she is right. How can a singer who literally delivers perfect (and yes I mean perfect) vocals not win a singing competition? It's not that Anoop can't dance (because he can), it's not that he doesn't bring emotion to the stage (because he does,) it's not that he doesn't look the part (because again he does). Anoop (and several other Idols also) did not loose by making a mistake or simply not being good enough. Anoop just didn't get the title because Kris did. Kris won, yet Anoop did not loose. Are you still with me? I also must say props to "Idol" producers and Simon for making it a Top 13 for the first time ever this year. Because this tour would have lost something without Anoop. Shout out to Anoop's parents who were in the crowd as well. I can't imagine how proud they are of Anoop. One final note, all you record producers out there, Anoop is ready! Go sign him up! This boy WILL be making records in time. www.ainow.org/index.php/component/content/article/35-frontpagearticles/740-ai-now-reflects-on-the-idols-liveq-tour

That yellow thingy is called Terrible Towel. It's a Pittsburgh Steelers fan gear. I own a few and they are indeed terrible quality. Not to be used to actually dry anything. Haha. It's strictly for twirling during a game.

Were Mommy and Daddy Desai here too? I read this review that said they were.[/b] mjsbigblog.com/petes-american-idol-tour-2009-pittsburgh-pa-recap.htmPete's American Idol Tour 2009 Pittsburgh, PA Recap
Anoop had fun on stage and I think he may have been nervous because his parents were in the audience. His whole set was great but My Prerogative was really fun and it is something I could see him put on his album. It was much better live than on Idol. Anoop has an amazing voice and I can’t wait to hear more from him! Oh I almost forgot to mention that when we were waiting for M&G we were sitting behind Anoop’s Parents. A woman came over and asked them if he was going to start recording an album soon and they said YES! They seemed really proud of their son!
And OMG! He's gonna have an album soon?! What if Anoop really is signed and just wants to surprise us?! I know that's retarded, stupid and probably not true but, oh well. [/b]

I REALLY HOPE IT IS TRUE!!!

A Manoop vid back2back his "spread myself around" is different.. why?? i would've ignored this if you didn't pointed out. all i can say is i don't wanna be watching the same show if mama desai's present in the audience. pittsburgh fans didn't even get half the spread.

Anoop recording does not necessarily mean he has a deal. He can record on his own and shop it around which I believe is what he said in one interview.
