I'd like to start a thread for the awesome talent that is David Mikush. He writes amazing songs and performs them amazingly.
To get the discussion started, here is the backporch song that Kary recorded at the Homecoming concert last night. I am dying to see what else he did last night.

I am all aboard the "David Mikush is awesome" train. What a gifted songwriter he is and an incredible performer. Plus, he's got a great sense of humour Yoko, I am also stoked to see what else he sang last night. Bring on the vids!

I will have the rest of DMik's set up tonight after work. (This damn job gets in the way of all my fun!) Mikush is def incredible! He is adorable. Oh, he probably doesn't want to be called "adorable" but HE IS!!!
Just imagine - "Give In To Her Love" was written in 2007. That song sat there for two years!! So glad it's out there now so we can all hear it!! I wonder how many other great songs they have under wraps right now.

It occurred to me at the Memorial Hall show on Sunday, my first exposure to David Mikush's talent, that everything felt fresh and breezy when he sang his stories. His gifts are undeniable and my only regret was that we found no CDs in the lobby as we left... probably due to my lingering too long. He makes pictures with his music better than anyone else I can think of, so I guess he could be called a troubadour, in the best possible way. I really don't think there's an adequate word for David Mikush talent. The Desai/Mikush collaborations are magic. I wonder if he's ready for the embrace of Anoop's Troopers? It'll be interesting to see what happens next!

One of my fave Clef songs is when Mukish did "Ain't Nothing Wrong With That"! Another fave is Pablo's "Endless Night". Why didn't he have more solos??!!!

A few brand new "bed room session" videos from Mikush!
You got a nice swing (on your back porch)
